Any advice on how to get my dog to stop eating his poop? I am already using Coprophagia and its not working.?

Change foods.

The reason they eat droppings is because the food is not totally digested as it comes through the digestive tract. You need a higher quality food that will fully digest. Something like meat and rice or a high protein food with no corn.Any advice on how to get my dog to stop eating his poop? I am already using Coprophagia and its not working.?
Simplest solution is to change the food you are giving him. On advise from my vet I fed my pup Hills Pet ID canned. He stopped eating poop the very next day.Any advice on how to get my dog to stop eating his poop? I am already using Coprophagia and its not working.?
Alas, I am dealing with the same thing right now, and I tried pumpkin in the food, it tastes great going in and bad going back in, but she still likes it... according to my research plain meat tenderizer sprinkled over the food and let to sit for 15 minutes before serving should fix this. It will help the dog to digest the meal, and not still be hungry enough to eat it again. If this doesn't work I'll try the pineapple juice. Just don't let them give you kisses...
We tried EVERYTHING on the market designed to deter this, to no avail.

We ended up switching to Canidae All Life Stages, and within 3 days of being 100% on it, she stopped eating her poop.

What do you feed your dog?
right after it does its business put lemon juice on it hope this answer help
Ive heard that adding pinnapple juice to the dogs food can help but have no personal experience with this. we had a german shepherd who had been kenneled for 3 years before we got her and she ate poo when we got her, we think it was alot to do with boredom so getting plenty of treats and things that are more appealing like poo might help as it did help us.
I added pineapple juice to my dogs' food. This is supposed to make the poop taste bad. I didn't really expect it to work, but I was surprised that it actually did. Hasn't cured it 100 percent but it has drastically reduced occurrences.

If you have more than one dog, be sure to add the pineapple juice to all their foods.

Of course, the best and most reliable solution is to pick it up... but I've heard of a dog going out in the middle of the night, turn around and eat it... and who wants to be out there pooper scoopering at 3 in the morning? That's the beauty of a yard.

ADD: That's awesome people were able to fix this by changing diet. However, I've fed my dog several high-quality diets (including popular ones such as Canidae and Solid Gold) and it made no difference (that I saw) for my dog. Guess you just need to experiment and find out what works best (if anything) for your dog.

Good luck!
My dog was a poop eater too. I was told by both his groomer and his vet to change his food. This is the reason I was given: Cheaper grocery store foods have a lot of filler, often corn. You know what happens when you eat corn... Anyway, when dogs eat food with more filler ie corn it doesn't get completely digested therefor their poop still smells appetizing to them so they eat it again... They will also eat more because there is more filler and less nutrients. When they eat food with less filler they stay full longer and the food gets digested more fully so what comes out is truly waste and isn't appealing to them.

Since I switched to higher quality dog food, my dog eats less, poops less, and doesn't eat his own poop.
I read somewhere that putting a bit of crushed pineapple in the food will help to stop it.
As per many, putting grated zucchini in your dog food makes the poop ';undesirable';.

Coprophagia is a medical term for ';shiteating';
