Where can I get advice about my job situation?

I am 48 years old and have worked at the same place (doctor's office, just 3 employees) for 30 years. Having never worked any other place I don't have alot of reference about other workplaces. I sometimes wonder if I am being treated fairly with regard to my pay and benefits. I wonder if I could be doing better somewhere else. And I have to work 17 more years before I can retire at 65. Despite 30 years of working I have very little to show for it. I'd like somewhere I can privately tell my situation and receive some good advise, such as a person knowledgeable in human resources or an employment consultation.Where can I get advice about my job situation?
Try a counselor at a local community college. Or you can check the US Labor department statistics for your position:

http://www.bls.gov/bls/blswage.htm

On that site, you can compare your wages to what others in your job are getting paid.

Good luck.

I'm 48 too!
