It depends on what you want to do when you finish school...
research different careers your interested and speak to people in a field you want to enter to find out what they did, and what you might need.
If you don't know what you want to do, then choose subjects you like and you know you can get good marks in.
Good luck! How can i get advice for choosing my subjects in 11th class? pls help it is urgent.?

it depends on u then also if u want advice then ask your big brother or sister who have passed through all these
iam also given tenththese year and i have decided to take
science
You can ask a question on Yahoo! Answers.
All suggestions given are good but please make sure that you have a study hall in your schedule because you will need it!
decide on basis of ur interest if u have a logical mind and r interested in science then take science stream.
here if u like maths or bio take accordingly.
if u wanna go towards bussiness side or accounts then take commerce..
optinal subjects should be taken acc to ur interest as they lighten u not burden
u can get advice from a lot of places, here, a networking site, an online forum, your teachers, your parents, your doctor, your school counsellr, you can even do an aptitude test(search for them on google :D)to see what you will be good at,(if you do score in them it doesn't mean u HAVE TO go into that line)
Just be sure to choose what you want to do, and not what others think is good for you, the load in science is more than commerce, but the cutoffs for commerce are normally higher.
u can ask ur teacher .??
Do not rely on the previous year's result
U can get advice from your seniors, friends, family, teachers and the big one is u itself getting adviced...
There are many groups available and it depends the state where u r living now.. Bcos the groups differ from state to state, board to board etc...
If need any help u can contact me @ kkumar_84@yahoo.com
