Might I suggest modelling and acting for Bren Ryder and her company Good Dyke Porn (don't worry, they do boy/girl scenes as well as girl/girl, although everything has a ';queer'; flavor to it)? Bren is located in Canada, and is definitely a friendly and safe environment, very reputable.

Don't listen to the first answer, I think she is refering to the Silicon Valley in No. Calif. and not the valley in LA. You want LA. Canoga Park is the headquarters for porn. As well as Ventura Blvd.
The problem is that you have to start near the bottom, unless you are super hot and have multiple talents. It won't be easy.
Try Lucky Media. They are middle of the road. You need to make a name for yourself before Vivid or any of the top names give you a shot. Now, Vivid can help you by referring other companies that they have relationships with. DO NOT send them video of you doing porn. Making an appointment is the key.
You need to be mentally prepared, because it is not what you think it is. It is degrading for a women with self esteem those first few shoots.
Move to Los Angeles, that's where a lot of porn are shot. And also, you can maybe try googling for internet sites that are based near your area, because then you get some experience in working, and the pay will be good too.
If you're beautiful and you're slim,get into modeling industry or being an actress!
