Whenever I straighten my hair, I get little hairs that stick up where I part my hair. Any advice?

Right where I part my hair, there are tiny hairs that stick straight up. I think some people call them ';fly aways';

How can I get rid of these?

I have tried hair spraying them down and pulling them out. Nothing seems to work. Any advice?Whenever I straighten my hair, I get little hairs that stick up where I part my hair. Any advice?
Depending on what type of hair and your ethnicity, there is hope. For african american hair I use 30 SEC's Molding Gel. Its clear gel in a purple and red jar. Try applying a small amount to your fingertips and gently running them over the small ';fly aways';. Immediately or before the gel dries, brush over these areas to blend the ';fly aways'; with your other hairs. For more European texture hair, try FRIZZ EASE or GARNIER FRUCTICE products.
