I have to get braces soon, your advice?

I have an overbite, which is when the top jaw is so much bigger than the bottom jaw that it overlaps, and i have to get this thing in the back of my mouth to make my jaw come forward 'til it grows. But I'm not worried about that, I'm worried about braces.





I have to get six on my top row of teeth. Does it hurt while you are getting them on? What are some highlights? Thanks for your help! %26lt;3I have to get braces soon, your advice?
I had a full set of braces for nearly 2 years.


It doesn't really hurt when they put them on, if they're the metal kind they just kinda glue them on.


It only hurts when they go to adjust the braces. It feels like your whole mouth aches. Abisol can kinda help to knumb the gums, but really you should just take some ibuprofin/motion and that should help.


the good thing is that alot of peopole have to get braces when they're young so alot of people have to go through the same awkwardness when it comes to braces.I have to get braces soon, your advice?
I got my braces put on a year ago and I still have them on. The very first time you get them on, I'm not gonna lie to you, but its a b**ch. They get so sensitive they even if you close your mouth it hurts. You won't be able to eat anything much for the next few days. Good luck.
i didnt think getting them on was that bad. just when you fist get done drug up on advil or asprin or something. you'll be fine! they really arent as bad as people say they are! dont worry!
